We’ve learned to make a lot of things over the years, but blood is one thing we cannot make. Blood is something that has to be given and can only come from you… a volunteer.
Volunteers are the backbone of the American Red Cross. Whether donating blood or platelets or giving your time to help out at a blood drive, you are needed to help those with life-threatening emergencies and to assist people who are suffering from cancer, blood disorders, sickle cell and other illnesses. Right now, someone is waiting for a blood or platelet transfusion to live. Help us help them.
