Donor StoriesI have given blood twice now during school hosted blood drives and have learned a great deal about giving blood. When I first gave blood and received my donor card in the mail, I found out that I have the O Negative Blood type. O is a very special blood type that can be given to anyone of any blood type. In learning this I knew it was important for me to donate because of the ability for my blood to be transfered to anyone. I want to be able to help people and right now, this is the best way I know how. I plan to give blood at every one of my schools hosted blood drives for the rest of the time I'm in school and for many many years after that to give life to those who need it most. —Amber
