NOTE:
The Alabama and Central Gulf Coast Region reserves the right to waive the length of employment requirement for internal position posting through the Red Cross Blood Services Internal Posting System when it is in the best interest of the organization. All qualified employees who are not in a Performance Improvement Plan are invited to apply for a posted internal position. Recruitment may include, but is not limited to internal job posting, employee referrals, advertising, and participation in job fairs. Applications and resumes are accepted from qualified applicants for positions currently open. Please indicate on the application/cover letter the

POSTING POLICY:
Bargaining Unit positions are posted for a period of at least seven (7) days excluding Saturdays, Sundays and holidays. All others are as follows - Non-exempt positions are posted for five (5) working days Exempt positions are posted for ten (10) working days. Posting Location: All position openings will be posted in Human Resources, as well as areas accessible for employees.

Job vacancies at American Red Cross do not have pre-determined closing dates for applications unless specified in the vacancy notice. Vacancies may be closed at any time sufficient qualified candidates have been identified or a specific individual has been hired. In addition, some of the job titles are representative of multiple vacancies for which the American Red Cross continuously recruits. Therefore, they may remain posted from week to week.
