Winter Days of Giving Vesta Jenkins, a donor from Vale, North Carolina, has been giving blood on and off for 30 years. Vesta feels that giving blood is “just a good thing to do. It’s easy and it’s free. I think God made it that way. It’s free to give, and it always comes back to you.” And it has! Vesta won two Delta Air Lines domestic round-trip tickets, as well as $1200 worth of cruise line vouchers. Thanks For Giving John Kilfoyle, a Clemmons(NC) resident, is the winner of the Thanks for Giving blood drive promotion. The top prize consisted of two Delta Air Lines round-trip tickets to anywhere in the United States. This promotion was held by the American Red Cross Carolinas Blood Services Region, which includes NC, SC, GA, and TN, to thank donors for giving blood during the Thanksgiving holiday month.
